How to Search Our Ellipsometry Database

We provide 3 search conditions to facilitate your search. You can choose, however, only the 1st one. You should set the conditions from the 1st to the 3rd because we combine your search conditions using combination operators And, Or, and Not from the top to the bottom. That is to say, you cannot omit the 1st one while trying to use the 2nd or the 3rd.

In order to set a search condition, you should select a field in which you are interested, and select a search operator, whose default value is Contains, and then input the text value into the text field. And you can omit the 2nd or the 3rd condition by omit any of the items, which are combination operators, field, search operator, or text value. When you finish setting all the conditions you need, you start the search.

Please be aware that the combination operator Or increases the number of your search result by adding two result sets together; And decreases the number by looking for the common parts of both result sets; Not also decreases the number by removing the parts that match this search condition from the previous result set. Please also be aware that the search result can be different when you change the order of the combination operator And, Or, and Not because of the combination order.
